DeleteToo funny! When he first started drinking, my husband claimed he got "a buzz" from this really cool tasting beer. Turned out it was ginger beer. --snort.
ReplyDeleteGinger beer is pretty heady stuff. :-) Although as a Mia Maid, I got an orange soda once, drank it, only to have my sister tell me it was caffeinated. (Which it wasn't.) Nevertheless, I spent the rest of the evening running around acting hyper. The power of the mind...
DeleteI had no idea Abita made root beer, I've only seen their actual beer. That raspberry ginger ale looks pretty good - I'll have to see if any of the stores in AZ carry it!

DeleteNot sure if Henry Winehard's rootbeer is available outside Oregon. If not I will have to send you a case sometime. Even my friends who drink say their rootbeer is better than their beer! ;-)
