Postmormongirl's Week Off

Last week, I went to visit my parents.  When I was there, I got to enjoy my mother's flower garden as well as the peace of the surrounding woods.

My parents' very relaxing porch

Hiking the woods by my parents' place - I grew up roaming these forests!

Now that my mother is an empty-nester, she spends all her spare time flower-gardening.

All in all, I had a very peaceful week - I am now recharged and ready to start writing again!

  1. I am so glad you were able to rest and recharge. I wonder if your mom wants more visitors. ;-)

I am glad you are home and that the enchanting woods didn't convince you to run away from the heat. It has been close to 100 degrees here, and I have been okay with NOT being the one to water the plants. Most times I have been cranky about not doing, but I was fine with sending Scott to do it.

Glad it was fun! Glad you are back!

    1. Thanks Julia! It was hotter than normal at my parents place but I was OK with hiding in the shade. :) And just the relief of being able to do outdoor stuff again was very empowering - I even got to do a little driving. :)

      Feel better!
